0.1 Detailed Design
Once we've completed your planning package and have the necessary approvals, you will be ready to move on to the Details Stage. This phase typically takes 2 to 3 weeks to draw up.
During this time, I'll develop a comprehensive construction design adhering to the latest edition of the Building Regulations, so your your project can be submitted for Building Control Approval.
Following this, I will furnish you with a professional package of drawings & specifications, which you can use to gain competitive quotes from builders.
0.2 Detail Design Package
Our comprehensive Detailed Design Package is ideal for most projects.
It includes as standard:
- Party wall notices to adjacent owners when necessary.
- Detailed plans, sections, and elevations, complete with dimensions and annotations all complying with Building Regulations and ready to be constructed.
- These include, details for roofing, foundations, walls, insulation, flooring, and drainage systems etc.
- I'll handle all council-related paperwork and address any inquiries from Building Control.
- 3 sets of drawings along with an information pack.
- A homeowner building contract.
- I'll answer any pre-construction questions from contractors.
- Fulfillment of the Principal Designer's responsibilities as mandated by the Building Safety Act.
- I can also provide a Bill of Quantities for an additional fee which can be used to assess builders' quotes if required.
